While we were eating we were told that we were going to get our college ID's and we would have like a presentation for 3D printing. After eating the bagels we went to a classroom with a lot of computers. There, we met Professor Lawrence and who introduced 3D printing to us which is a way to make a lot of different things. We learned what additive manufacture and subtractive manufacture is and he showed us and even made an iPhone case from 3D printing. We also learned that they are using 3D printing in china to build houses in a fast rate which was mind blowing and they're also using it to make parts on planes lighter which saves a lot of fuel. After we finished the lesson we went to get our ID's which was pretty quick and then went to eat our lunch. We got a tour after eating of the parts of the school that we didn't see from one of the students , Jeremiah. He showed us around and told us what each building was for.
After getting a tour of the campus we went to the Holocaust Exhibit which was really nice to see these things and know what was going on back then. Another Professor showed us and explained to us what some of the pictures and objects were about. My favorite part of the trip was when we were in the classroom learning about 3D printing. It was my favorite part because I had no idea what 3D printing was and now I have an idea about it and I even saw it. Also when we were showed the machines that were used to make many different things in different colors. We even got to touch and feel final products that they had made like a toy car, a wrench , a screwdriver and an owl.
